When you buy a coffee for a creator, you can include a personal message along with your support.
How to add a message
- On the creator's coffee support widget, find the message field
- Enter your name (or leave it as "Anonymous")
- Type your message in the text area
- Complete the payment as usual
Message guidelines
- Messages have a character limit (typically 500 characters)
- Be respectful and supportive
- Creators can hide inappropriate messages
- Messages are stored on our servers (not on the blockchain)
Public vs Private messages
You can choose to make your message private. Private messages:
- Are only visible to the creator
- Don't appear in the public "Recent Supporters" section
- Are marked with a "Private" badge for the creator
