Supporting Creators

Cobbee uses USDC on Base for all payments. Here's what you need to know:

What is USDC?

USDC (USD Coin) is a stablecoin - a cryptocurrency that maintains a 1:1 value with the US Dollar. $1 USDC always equals $1 USD.

How to get USDC on Base

There are several ways to get USDC on Base:

1. Bridge from other networks

If you have USDC on Ethereum or other chains, use a bridge like the official Base Bridge to move it to Base.

2. Buy directly on Coinbase

Coinbase supports direct withdrawals to Base. Buy USDC and withdraw to your wallet on Base network.

3. Use an on-ramp service

Services like MoonPay or Transak let you buy crypto with a credit card directly to Base.

4. Swap on a DEX

If you have ETH on Base, you can swap it for USDC on decentralized exchanges like Uniswap.

Gas fees

You don't pay any gas fees on Cobbee. Coinbase Smart Wallet covers gas fees for your first 1,000 transactions, and after that Cobbee covers all gas fees. You only pay for your support amount plus the 5% platform fee.

Transaction confirmation

Transactions on Base are confirmed within seconds. Once confirmed, the payment is instantly available to the creator.
