Network: Base
Cobbee operates on Base, an Ethereum Layer 2 network built by Coinbase. Base offers:
- Fast transaction confirmations (usually under 2 seconds)
- Very low gas fees (typically less than $0.01)
- Full Ethereum compatibility
- Strong security inherited from Ethereum
Payment currency: USDC
All payments on Cobbee are made in USDC (USD Coin), a stablecoin pegged 1:1 to the US Dollar. This means:
- No price volatility - $5 USDC is always worth $5
- Easy to understand pricing

Adding Base network to your wallet
When you first connect to Cobbee, your wallet will automatically prompt you to add the Base network if it's not already configured. Simply approve the request.
